Pattern clarity is calculated as a value between 1 and 10 of the average direction and distance a high or a low of a candle is away from virtual pattern-point lines that connects the touching points of the support and resistance lines of a pattern. The more candles diverge away from the direction of the virtual pattern-point lines, the lower the clarity of the pattern. The more candles are aligned in the direction of the virtual pattern-point lines, the higher the clarity of a pattern. Good Clarity

Bad Clarity:
Uniformity
Pattern Uniformity is calculated as a value between 1 and 10 of the average time-distance between identified touching points of the pattern support and resistance lines. The more even the touching points are spaces from one another, the more uniform the pattern is, the more uneven the spacing – the less uniform the pattern is. The distances are scaled by the rate of convergence of the support and resistance lines. Good Uniformity:

Bad Uniformity:
Initial Trend
Initial Trend is calculated as a value between 1 and 10 of the length of the initial trend as a proportion of the length of the first leg of the pattern, scaled by the rate of convergence of the support and resistance levels. Good Initial Trend:
Average Initial Trend:
Bad Initial Trend:
Breakout Strength
Breakout Strength is only applicable to completed patterns and is a value between 1 and 10 of the size of the breakout bar in relation to the average bar sizes that have formed the patterns. Good Breakout Strength:
Average Breakout Strength:
Bad Breakout Strength:
Volume Increase
Volume increase is not applicable to OTC symbols. It is a value between 1 and 10 representing the average volume increase of the volume in the last leg of the pattern, when compared to the volume of the rest of the pattern.
Overall Quality
Pattern Overall Quality is calculated as a value between 1 and 10 and is the arithmetic average of all the other quality indicators (excluding volume for OTC instruments, and excluding breakout for emerging patterns)
